A recovery phrase consists of 12 randomly generated words. The app creates the recovery phrase for you automatically when you start a new wallet. The recovery phrase is critically important and should be written down and stored in a safe location. Never take screenshots of your recovery phrase as this can be stolen if someone gains access to your device or to backups of your photos. In the event of phone theft, destruction, or loss, the recovery phrase can be used to recover your wallet onto a new phone. The key is also required when upgrading your current phone to a new one or to recover your PIN.
To find your recovery phrase follow these steps:
1- On the main screen, tap on Menu.
2- Select Security Settings.
3- Tap on Recovery Phrase.
4- Tap on Write Down Recovery Phrase Again.
5- Enter your PIN and you will be shown each word in your recovery phrase on separate pages.
